The West Valley Design Group (WVDG) is a fully functioning Digital Media business that operates on the West Valley campus. The WVDG employs students and professional mentors to carry out the goals for the client. The Program has been designed to train and transition students into Digital Media employment. For the past two years we have been developing and implementing procedures to make this business beneficial for students and local companies we serve.

Client Experience
You, the client, provide the experience and opportunities for students to create multiple media promotions and Corporate Identity.

Student Experience
Students are assigned, based on faculty and staff evaluation, a variety of roles within the WVDG. Depending on the abilities and skills of the student, job assignments may consist of any number of job descriptions. From designer, to programmer to content development to production assistant, students are given the opportunity to experience real world situations and contribute at all levels within the creation process. Students with less experience and abilities will be partnered with students who help provide transitions from beginning level to employment ready skills. Collaborative participation, project management, client relations, contract negotiating and asset management are skills fostered by the WVDG.
