Using cascading style sheets (CSS)

Style Sheets are a very useful feature that will speed up you work and help you to easily update your site.

The best way to use it is by creating an external ".css" file and linking it to your document


To make an external cascading style sheet

1. Choose window CSS styles and from the CSS panel click on the arrow on the top and choose new style, you get a window as shown below.


2. In the name type for example .body.css and then select the make a custom style (class) and click OK. Then another window comes up which is shown below.


3. In the file name type for example ".wvdg.css" and make sure that in the option which says Relative to you have chosen Document, and then click on save. You have created you style sheet.

To attach your style sheet to your working document choose Text > CSS Style > Attach style Sheet. You get a similar box like the one shown above and then select your ".wvdg.css" file.

To attach new style to your style sheet file
1. From the CSS Style panel click on the
" plus sign"

2. Next you get a window as shown below

3. Then you can choose your font family, size, style, color, and etc.
