Pop-up menus are display something as the pointer rolls over or clicks a triggering a slice or hotspot. Pop-up menus give more chance to have more navigational flexibility. Creating Pop-up menus 1. Place a slice or hotspot on the object that you want to use to trigger the pop-up menu. Here, I have drawn an rectangle and on top of that I put the text about us and I used the slice tool and just draw a slice around my text. As shown below.
3. Then , you can click on the next button on the set pop_up menu dialog box and you get another dialog box where you can choose your font type, size, color, and so on. As shown below.
4. When you click the finish button on the set Pop-up menu dialog box as shown above. You get a blue outline of the menu which appears near your slice which you can move. The outline looks like a blank table. As shown below.
Exporting a pop-up menu 7 Fireworks generates the JavaScript to view the menu on a web browser. When the document is exported, the JavaScript is exported to the same location with the other files and this file is called something like "menu.js".
